These iconic Picardie glasses are still produced in the French town of La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin. Durable for everyday use, they are made of tempered glass that is shatter and chip resistant so they can hold hot or cold liquids and are safe for use in the freezer, microwave and dishwasher.
Their fluted sides and tapered shape make them easy to hold and stack for storage. We have these glasses available in five sizes.
Did you know that Duralex is made using a technique developed in the 1930s by Saint-Gobain, moulded glass is heated to 600 degrees Celsius, then cooled very quickly, giving it an impact resistance twice superior to normal glass!
